So, you must tackle it with all of your skills intact since that is what will make you a better professional.

Second, you need to be sure that your subjects are not wearing things which look like rags. You have been hired for this project because of the elegance of your work. However, no matter how good you are, if your models are wearing clothes that are not complementing each other, then you will never be able to work out your magic on them.

Third, you should get used to counting the heads in your picture. Yes, it can be troublesome in the beginning but then, this is part of what you have signed up for. You should be able to apply a wide range of techniques on your backgrounds. It does not matter if you are applying a method for the very first time. If you are using a reliable software, then you will surely be able to undo the effects that you do not like. So, go on with this stage and do not be afraid to move out of your comfort zone.

Make sure that there is nothing wrong with your camera. If some of its parts are already old and loose, then consider getting new parts or an entirely new equipment. Thus, you would really have to look into the kind of budget that you have. If you have a lot of money, then the former option would be more appropriate for you.

Also, remind your subjects that this is not a fashion photo shoot. They do not have to tilt their heads all the time. You just need them to smile genuinely and everything will be fine.
